Mixing and matching and using a variety of keywords will help fill out your content and make it appealing to different search engines.

Depending on what you are using to develop your content, whether it be a third-party service like hubpages or squidoo, or if you have your own website, you should be able to track if you are getting organic search content and where it's coming from. There are many analytics systems but all of them have basically the same function. They are supposed to help you see exactly where your visitors are coming from, and where they are going after they visit your website.
