Learn to Make Money Online - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 35 - Where to Go for Joint Ventures

Joint ventures can be a great way to get extra income in your affiliate marketing efforts. It's pretty simple: the more people you can get involved, the more customers you can potentially get, and therefore the more money you can make. One of the easiest ways to find potential joint venture partners is in an online forum. When you go to an online forum for internet marketing such as the Warrior Forum you'll find tons of people willing to work with you on joint ventures. A lot of the time, usually all of the time, you'll need some kind of email list in order to do a joint venture. Forums are also a good place to learn to make money online. Much of what you can be taught in internet marketing products can also be found in a forum by generous people. I've given my fair share of advice via online forums and I'm happy to do it.

There are plenty of ways to do joint ventures, here are some ideas you can use:

1. Swap Products on Sales Page - If both you and another person are selling a product, you can have that person include your product on the "Thank You" page after the product has been purchased. If lots of people are buying the product, then you have a good chance of getting significant exposure from the product.

2. Make a Free Report - You can easily make a free report and then include links to your product in it. Then have your joint venture partner give the report to their list. You can give a free report they make to your list, etc. The more informative and persuasive, the report, the more people will want to check out your website. One of the best ways to do this is to provide a blueprint that includes your website. In other words, say you have a website that provides a certain software. You could give a blueprint that shows how to make money with the software, and even give a free trial of the software.

3. Product Launch - The classic way to contribute to somebody else's products is to do a hyping up of the product to your list before it launches. Offer some kind of unique spin on the product and some supplemental thing that you will give people when they buy the product from your affiliate link.

Joint Ventures are an important part of how you can learn to make money online.

Online Money Maker - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 34 - Perfecting the craft of Selling

Affiliate marketing is really an art form. Not surprised I said that, eh? Well it is...one of the biggest mistakes early internet marketers make is not taking it seriously enough. Seriously, this happens quite a lot. Why exactly does it happen? It's because people that get into internet marketing frequently are the kinds of people that are looking for the "easy way out." They aren't the kind of people that want to work hard...generally. But they are also frequently the kind of people that would rather work for themselves, and when they work for themselves they work very hard. In other words, they are entrepreneurs....

But if you've never started a business before, it can be tempting to simply jump right in without a plan. Jumping in without a plan, and learning to "swim" that way, isn't the worst idea. Sometimes the best way is to just go into it and not look back. But eventually you will have to take seriously the actual fabric of your business because it is in fact a business and not just a "get rich quick scheme". If all you're doing is expecting some kind of miracle money making scheme, then you can think again! It's never going to be that easy. But sometimes it comes pretty close, depending on who you're getting your advice from. If you want to know a great online money maker, just do this:

1. Find a Great Product - Find a product that is selling. How do you know if it's selling? Go on clickbank or wherever your affiliate network is and check out the success of the product. On clickbank you can tell which products are having an impact by the "gravity" percentage. It's always important to do some testing on your product before you start gung-ho promoting it, because otherwise it's a bit of a waste. So never start work on a product until you are sure it is getting sales and interest from customers.

2. Promote Your Product - Once you've found an excellent product, it's time to promote it. Always include tracking code in your affiliate links so you know exactly where the link comes from. When you add tracking code, keep track of what the code is and then write it down. Write down where you put the link also. It's very important to keep track of where your links are so that you can always find the successful article posts or copy that was used to sell the product. Think of it this way: 100 people can make 100 commercials but it's possible that only three or four actually make people want to buy the product. The same is true for your copy. As much as we would all like to believe that the product sells itself, the fact is, much of the time copy is very necessary to get people interested. And how will you know which copy has worked unless you are tracking it. Once you've found successful copy, you can send people there more often in order to make more sales.

3. Save What Works - Always keep track of what's working and what isn't. When you've found a page that's converting, you can send people there and it will produce sales for you. Never spend time on a product until you know it will convert. There are many ways to test products, but I'll say again, until you know it works, don't spend time on it.

I hope this has helped. If you'd like an awesome system to help you get started with your affiliate marketing and online money maker efforts, check this out: click here! Online Money Making Ideas - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 33 - Connecting With Your Audience

Whenever you're trying to sell an affiliate product, it's very important to know your audience and how to connect with them. You should always try to find out what their needs are and how the product is going to fulfill them. If you know what somebody's needs are, why they need the product, then you can figure out how to best serve them in their need. For example, if you're trying to sell a product on how to perfect a golf swing, you might want to figure out something about the topic. One of the most effective ways of finding out things about your topic is to go to forums about the topic. Forums are places where people are already talking about what you're trying to find information on. Forums are a place where people can get free advice, which means you can get free advice also. Find out what some of the problems are in your niche, and how you can help solve them. Affiliate marketing is all about helping people solve their problems. But it's also important to be specific about what problems you're addressing. If you can't do that, you're going to be groping in the dark. So try to find out specific problems, and specific solutions to those problems. What to do after that you ask?

After that you have to find a way to write something about your topic. Write a blog post (or start a blog) about your topic and use the information you have to inform readers of simple solutions to their problems. This is called branding yourself an "expert" in the topic. Even if you're not an expert, you need to appear to be one. One of the easiest ways to profit from problems that occur in these niches such as "how to play golf" or "how to improve your golf swing" is to simply create an ebook which you then give to people who sign up to your newsletter on your website. After this, you simply include some links to your affiliate product in the free report and then also sell them affiliate products via their email accounts after they sign up for your newsletter.

Once they're part of your email list, all you need to do is keep sending them helpful information with occasional affiliate links to products that you're promoting to them. Keep getting more followers and keep promoting...then you'll make money! Some times things can get more complicated than this, that's why I'd like you to check this out if you need a shortcut or some help to get started:

Can you make money online? - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 32 - Company Branding and Backlinks

This article is aimed at companies that are looking to get their website online, and want to know how they can brand themselves. But it also applies to the average internet marketer who is wondering how they can brand themselves online and make a name for themselves. Having a website and a brand is certainly the most important thing you can do for yourself online. There are three basic parts to begin with when you're branding yourself online:

1. Create a great website
2. Create a great brand symbol
3. Get backlinks

And then, secondarily, you will:

4. Provide user-friendly website format
5. Create great content
6. Get a high search engine ranking

Creating a website can be as simple as outsourcing the task to a competent programmer or company. You can find great website creators on such websites as "Elance . com" "Guru . com" or "GetaCoder . com". Make sure you do a test run of the person whom you're planning on hiring for the website. In my experience, there are certain companies which do massive amounts of programming, and won't give your particular project the attention it deserves. So it's not always a bad idea to try a single individual or smaller company rather than one of these companies that does a massive amount of websites. There are so many resources for outsourcing your websites online that you have absolutely no excuse not to have a website. In addition to this, you can have your company brand or even your company slogan outsourced. Your company slogan shouldn't be that difficult to come up with. Just try to think, if you had to sum up your company to somebody say in an elevator in 30 seconds how could you do it? How could you get their interest?

After you have your website and brand, the next step is getting back links. If you're brand new to Internet Marketing you may not know what I mean. Back links are simply links from other websites to your site. This can be done a myriad of ways but if you're first starting, why not try something simple? You can create a simple press release at websites such as Webwire . com and that will give you a great start. You can outsource the press release or write it yourself.

Earn Extra Money Online - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 31 - Who to Trust Online?

Affiliate Marketing is a great way to earn extra money online. I wanted to talk a little bit about how to trust people online, how not to get ripped off by affiliate marketers. You may think it's ironic that I'm telling you who to trust, when I am myself an internet marketer. You can choose to trust me or not, but I'm just going to share some of my personal experiences. If you're looking for a guide or a product that can show you exactly how to earn extra money online, you're going to have to be a little choosy. The best products to make money online are those which can really help you in your make money online journey. Gimmicky things are never going to help inform you about what to do any better than just figuring it out on your own. So try to find some information that's truly helpful and can give you the right information. Learning how to earn extra money online is a great gift. So be careful who you trust online.

Some of the best things I've ever purchased online have been things that didn't give me THAT much information. But they gave me information about certain things, and I picked up certain "tricks" along the way that are very helpful and very useful. So sometimes you can get things out of products even if they don't deliver directly to your goal. This is something most people don't want to admit, but it's the truth. Sometimes getting to where you want to be takes a little time, and that's okay. But it's also true that certain products or certain internet marketers will spark something in you that will wake you up to your own potential to earn extra money online. Try to find something that really seems to excite you, inspire you, and interest you. If, after purchasing something, you don't immediately make money online, don't worry. It's going to take longer than a few days most likely to do it. However, the most important thing is your own personal development and personal discipline in doing what you're doing. Take the time to find a very good product on how to make money online before you purchase. And once you purchase, try as best you can to follow all the instructions you find in the product. The biggest mistake most internet marketers make is giving up too early, or thinking that what they're doing isn't "working" so they stop. And usually they move on and buy another product, or a few more. There's nothing wrong with this, but in the end if all you're doing is buying products and not truly pursuing any one path, then you'll never succeed.

How to Make Money Quickly - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 30 - Keeping Track of Customers

One of the weirdest things about having an email list is you can actually see what kind of people choose to follow you. This can be beneficial but also a bit strange. It's possible you could get a glimpse into what to market to them though. If you're having trouble figuring out what they might want, you can always ask them. Giving away your product for free, or at a huge discount can also give your readers a chance to review your product and give you testimonials.

Internet Money-Making Ideas - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 29 - Stop Begging for Change!

I'm trying to be practical with these posts, but at the same time, I want to address the mentality of success. If you're out to try and get people to buy your products, then you're probably addressing the issue in the wrong way. It's usually a bad idea to right away try to get people to buy your products...usually it's better to get some kind of good content going beforehand. One of the best sources for learning how to generate original and awesome content, or how to outsource it handily, is a program called niche profit classroom. Niche profit classroom can definitely help you handle the unwieldy task of creating original and amazing content from scratch. The true goal is to provide good information. It's easy to trick somebody into buying something from you...it's much more difficult to provide them with something that truly has value. Keep this in mind. I've been ripped off by marketers, people who thought they were doing me a "favor" by sharing their information with me, when really all they were doing was selling me up the river. I bet they still think they did right by me! But in the process, I've learned quite a lot, and somehow managed to reach success despite how much misinformation is out there, and there is no shortage of it.

It's always on you to get people to buy your products, but you have to do it by gaining their trust first. Don't get into this business thinking things are going to be easy right away. They're not going to be easy right away! This is a truth that most people won't tell you, because they don't want you to get discouraged from buying their product. I know the truth, which is that if I talk down to someone they'll likely not find success, and if they don't have success, they'll respect me less, and frankly, I don't want that to happen. I want people to benefit from my information, and remember me. I want them to come to trust me as a source of knowledge on the topic and buy my products after they know I'm trustworthy. This is definitely a different approach that simply playing people's ignorance and giving them a crappy product. In the long run, doing things the right way is more profitable. Even though it takes more work, your customers and readers will surely thank you in the end.

Online Money Making Opportunities - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 28 - Basic Link/Conversion Tracking Techniques

When affiliate marketing, tracking your affiliate links can be extremely important. No matter where you put your links, you should always have some kind of tracking on your links in order to know where your sales are coming from. Every time you make a sale, you should know exactly where that sale come from. If you don't, you're seriously limiting yourself. Especially when you're first starting out, it can seem like way too much work to put tracking on your links. I understand, and I felt the same way. And I made a few sales without knowing where they came from, and kicked myself for it! So if you can, don't make the same mistake I did. Always put tracking on your affiliate links. Commission Junction and Clickbank, two of the most popular affiliate networks, both allow you to easily put tracking on your links.

So what's the point of tracking, and how to implement it? Tracking on your affiliate links should be done as much as possible. Let's say you're doing a campaign where you're writing several articles or doing a few different web pages which slightly different sales pitch, each of them having their own set of affiliate links. When a sale is made, the affiliate network website analytics can show you exactly where your sale came from (provided you kept track of which code was being put on which website/article post). Therefore, as you can see, keeping good records is very important in this process also. Always keep track of where all of your tracking code is being put.

Okay, so you made a sale, and you know where it came from? What can you draw from this information? Well, if you're testing several different landing pages on a website, for example, obviously you're going to use the one that converted best for you. Another way to track your conversions if you're using several different kinds of traffic is to put google analytics code on the landing page and the thank you page of your autoresponder, and you can see if you're getting conversions from article sites, paid advertising, or whatever else you're using. It can be very helpful in order to see where you're getting leads from. Once you have a good idea where you're getting leads from, you can adjust everything you're doing in order to fit to those parts of your campaign that are working, and discard those that aren't. In the end it's worth the extra effort need to be put forth in order to make sure that when you make a sale you'll know exactly where it came from, and you can track all the content you're putting out there in order to see what's working and what isn't.

Make Money Online Now - Affiliate Marketing Lessons pt. 27 - The Importance of Persistence

Have you wondered how it's possible to make money online as an affiliate? Affiliate marketing is one of the most interesting ways to make money online. It's a virtually risk-free way to make money online, and it just takes a little bit of study in order to execute it. There are basically two elements to affiliate marketing: getting your affiliate links, and then copying these links in various places. It's actually not very complicated as a process. The complicated or difficult thing about affiliate marketing is having the discipline to stick with just one thing for a long time. In my experience, this is the most difficult aspect of the process. You'll hear stories from many affiliate marketers about how when they first started they thought having a greater number of websites, in a greater amount of areas, was somehow better. Or perhaps they got into an endless cycle of purchasing "how to make money online" products, tried some or all of it, then gave up when it didn't give instant results. If this is happening to you, don't worry, don't fret! This is all part of the process. The important thing is to soldier on beyond this point, don't let it hold you back. Sounds crazy right? But sometimes even purchasing products can be the only thing to boost your enthusiasm about something. If a certain method doesn't work for you, or doesn't make sense to you, don't let it turn you away forever. But in the end, only your passion about what you're doing can really push you to the point of success.

But sometimes having passion is all about knowing the right people, struggling on your own, and exploring new and different ways to promote your products. There's nothing wrong with searching, trying different things, and seeing what works for you, and what doesn't. If you're failing at something, it might not be all your fault. It's possible you just need to try something different, or something new. Never give up. That's all you can do...just keep trying. And never try the same thing over and over. If something doesn't work, try something else. Affiliate products can be like stocks...you put your time and money investing in it, hoping people buy it, and if they don't, you better stop promoting that affiliate product, before you lose a lot of money. It's important that you don't stick with a product if it's not working. Don't put your faith and confidence, time and money, into something that simply isn't working. You have to be cold-blooded and only give attention and time to those products which you think will earn money for you.
