Make Real Money Online - Lessons on Affiliate Marketing pt. 2 - Methods of Advertising

There are many methods of delivering your affiliate link to people online. The basic methods for delivering your affiliate product to people online can be narrowed to a few categories, but the basic division is, free traffic or paid traffic. The basic methods of free traffic are from articles, forums, your own website, your twitter account or other social network site, or from some third party website like blogger, squidoo, or hubpages. Once you have your keywords, you need to use them when you're writing your content on one of these websites. Write content that will appeal to the niche you're targeting and include affiliate links to drive them to your affiliate product. If you get stuck, you can always look at other sites which have content that you can pull from in order to get more ideas. If you already know a lot about the niche, then you can easily write from memory.

The other way to market your affiliate product is through some kind of paid traffic. Paid traffic sources include some kind of advertising or service, which you pay a monthly subscription for, or pay according to how much advertising you use. Google offers advertising, and so does facebook, msn, and there are others too. There are a million ways to pay for traffic. This can be a good way to get people to your website or affiliate product. However, it can also be extremely expensive. You should always know what you're getting into, and never start using paid advertising until you have a comprehensive plan for how you're going to go about using it. If you don't really know what you're doing, it's just like throwing money out the window with no real purpose. That's why you should always get educated before you use some kind of paid advertising.
